Start & finish

Start tournament

After create, a tournament is Draft. Preparation is possible; scoring and court assignment are still locked.

1. Admin header or overview → Start tournament
2. Review the overview (name, venue, courts, events with entry/match counts)
3. Confirm → status active, courts are assigned

Demo tournaments usually start active right away.

Finish & delete

Finish: confirmation dialog. Afterwards standings are locked, autostart off, scoring and schedule locked. Live and standings stay readable.

Delete: two confirmation dialogs. Permanently removes the tournament including players and matches.

Danger

Delete is permanent. Export first if you need a copy.
